The Lord took Abram outside and said to him, “Look up at the sky. See if you can count the stars! That's how many descendants you will have!” Abram trusted what the Lord said, and so the Lord counted Abram as being in a right relationship with him. [Genesis 15:5-6 FBV]

And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be. [KJV]

The Power Of Visualization

If you've been looking at the small confines of your own little world for too long, then it's about time to look up and look out to where God displays His splendor. It is always good to look and think out of the box, but we have to always align that with God's Word. In Abram's case, he had a specific Word and promise directly from God: Descendants that are as many as the stars.

There’s something about the act of ‘telling’ and ‘counting’ that exercises and builds our faith. Go ahead and tell the stars – the angels of praise, that there’s a baby promised to you. Count the innumerable stars, and recount God’s blessings.

…P R A Y E R…

Father God,

You have inspired us to look away from our lack of a baby, and directed us to look outside of our box, outside of our own little world, so that we can see and visualize how much Your creation displays Your baby promises over our lives. You have given Abraham countless and innumerable descendants, and we are confident that You can and will give to us, too - at least, one. We will tell the stars that there is a baby fulfillment for us, at least, one baby - for us.

We believe You, Lord. We trust in Your baby promise. We put our faith in Your Word.

In Jesus' name,

Amen.
