the king version

There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. The same came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God; for no man can do these miracles that you do, except God be with him.”

Jesus answered and said to him, “Verily, verily I say to you, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.”

Nicodemus says# to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time in...

The King Version Project

Posted by cr0cus (Bro Henry) on Friday, December 18, 2020, In : TheKINGversion

I found a KJV update that has red for the words of God in the Old Testament, but didn’t consider Melchizedek's words.

I also found a KJV update with quotation marks, but retained the archaic words.

But I am yet to find a KJV in paragraph form.

SO NOW I'M TRYING TO WRITE ONE, with all the other good formats included.

*Praying to cross paths with a publisher :)

Perhaps A Chance

And the LORD appeared to him in the plains of Mamre, as he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day.

And he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, three men stood by him. And when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground and said, “My Lord, if now I have found favor in your sight, pass not away, I pray you, from your servant. Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet and rest yourselves under the tree; and I...

The Covenant Of Holiness

And when Abram was ninety years old and nine (99), the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him,

“I am the Almighty God. Walk before Me, and you be perfect. And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and will multiply you exceedingly.”

And Abram fell on his face; and God talked with him, saying,

“As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you will be a father of many nations. Neither will your name be called Abram anymore, but your name will be Abraham; for a father...

Now Sarai, Abram’s wife, bore him no children; and she had a handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar. And Sarai said to Abram, “Behold now, the LORD has restrained me from bearing. I pray you, go in to my maid. It may be that I may obtain children by her.”

And Abram heeded the voice of Sarai. And Sarai, Abram’s wife, took Hagar her maid, the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife. And he went in to...

Number The Stars

After these things, the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying,

“Fear not, Abram. I am your shield, and your exceeding great reward.”

And Abram said, “Lord God, what will You give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?” And Abram said, “Behold, to me You have given no seed; and look, one born in my house is my heir.”

And behold, the word of the LORD came to him, saying,

“This will not be your heir; but he that will com...

And it came to pass in the days of Amraphel king of Shinar, Arioch king of Ellasar, Chedorlaomer king of Elam, and Tidal king of nations, that these made war with Bera king of Sodom, and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, Shinab king of Admah, and Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela, which is Zoar. All these were joined together in the vale of Siddim, which is the salt sea. Twelve years they served Chedorlaomer, and in the thirteenth year they rebelled.

And in the fourteenth year...

And Abram went up out of Egypt, he, and his wife, and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the south. And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.

And he went on his journeys from the south even to Bethel, to the place where his tent had been at the beginning, between Bethel and Hai, to the place of the altar, which he had made    there at the first; and there Abram called on the name of the Lord.

And Lot also, which went with Abram, had flocks, and herds, and ten...

Abraham Begins

Now the Lord had said to Abram,

“Get yourselves out of your country,

and from your kindred,

and from your father's house,

to a land that I will show you.

2 And I will make of you a great nation,

and I will bless you,

and make your name great;

and you will be a blessing.

3 And I will bless those that bless you,

and curse anyone that curses you;

and in you will all families of the earth be blessed.”

4 So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken to him, and Lot went with him; and Abram was seventy and fi...

The Origin of Languages

Posted by cr0cus [Bro Henry] on Sunday, September 6, 2020, In : TheKINGversion

And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. 2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.

3 And they said to one another, “Go! Let us make bricks, and burn them thoroughly.” And they had brick for stone, and they had slime for mortar. 4 And they said, “Go! Let us build ourselves a city and a tower, whose top may reach to heaven; and let us make ourselves a name, lest we be scattered abroad up...

The Origins of the Human Race After Adam

Posted by cr0cus [Bro Henry] on Tuesday, September 1, 2020, In : TheKINGversion

Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth; and sons were born to them after the flood.

2 The sons of Japheth:

Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

3 And the sons of Gomer:

Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

4 And the sons of Javan:

Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim. 5 By these the isles of the Gentiles were divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them,

“Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth. 2 And the fear of you and the dread of you will be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moves upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hands are they delivered. 3 Every moving thing that lives will be meat for you; even as the green herb, I have given you all things.

4 But flesh with the life in it, that is, the blood in it...

And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark; and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters were decreased. 2 The fountains of the deep and the windows of heaven were also stopped, and the rain from heaven was restrained. 3 And the waters returned from off the earth continually, and after the end of the hundred and fifty (150) days the waters were abated. 4 And the ark rested in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the m...

And the Lord said to Noah,

“Come - you and all your house - into the ark, for I have seen you righteous before Me in this generation. 2 Of every clean beast, you must take with you by sevens, the male and its female; and of beasts that are not clean by twos, the male and its female. 3 Of fowls of the air also by sevens, the male and its female, to keep their seed alive upon the face of all the earth. 4 For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty (40) days and forty ...

And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, 2 that the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. 3 And the Lord said,

“My Spirit will not always strive with man, for that he is also flesh; yet his days will be a hundred and twenty (120) years.”

4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in to the daughters...

Degenerations From Adam

This is the book of the generations of Adam.

In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God He made him; 2 Male and female He created them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

3 And Adam lived a hundred and thirty (130) years, and fathered a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth. 4 And the days of Adam after he had fathered Seth were eight hundred (800) years; and he fathered sons and daughters. 5 And al...

And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bore Cain, and said, “I have gotten a man from the Lord.” 2 And again, she bore his brother Abel.

And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. 3 And in the process of time, it came to pass that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering to the Lord. 4 And Abel also, he brought of the firstborn of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect to Abel and to his offering. 5 But to Cain and to ...

Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Yes, has God said, “You must not eat of every tree of the garden?””

2 And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden, 3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, “You must not eat of it, neither must you touch it, lest you die.””

Thus, the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

2 And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had made, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. 3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it, because that in it He had rested from all His work which God created and made.

The Start of the Beginning

Posted by cr0cus [Bro Henry] on Friday, August 28, 2020, In : TheKINGversion

In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

3 And God said,

“Let there be light,”

and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

6 And God said,
