"Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness." (2 Cor 9:10 NIV)

It begins, continues and ends with God. When we have a need, we can pray to ask God for a seed. That seed is not enough to meet our need, so we don’t eat it – we plant it. That seed will produce a harvest so much bigger than the original seed. God will give us seed to sow, and He trusts that we sow it. He will continue to give us seed to sow, only if we are faithful to sow it. He would only supply seed to the sower, and not to the eater.

Let us then go beyond 'receiving' to 'giving.' Let us receive more than just 'for ourselves' and be blessed of God to bless others.
