"The purpose of my covenant with the Levites was to bring life and peace, and this is what I gave them. This called for reverence from them, and they greatly revered me and stood in awe of my name. They passed on to the people all the truth they received from me. They did not lie or cheat; they walked with me, living good and righteous lives, and they turned many from lives of sin. The priests' lips should guard knowledge, and people should go to them for instruction, for the priests are the messengers of the LORD Almighty. (Mal 2:5-7 NLT)

Pastors are supposed to:

1. Bring life and peace

2. Revere and stand in awe of God's name

3. Pass truth from God

4. Not lie and cheat

5. Walk with God, living good and righteous lives

6. Turn many from lives of sin

7. Be a source of knowledge and instruction

8. Represent the Lord Almighty...

...and the list just keeps on growing!

The pastor’s Job Description is all laid out in the Bible.

We don’t have to second-guess; we just have to read and understand.
